What the record shows
- EDSAN 1 and EDSAN 2 were filed a year apart and reached commercial operation thirteen days apart, in November 2023.
- CANELLA SOLAR FARM and CANELLA 2 SOLAR FARM were withdrawn on the same date, 2018-04-16, having been filed a year apart.
- CREOSOTE, the largest request in the 2017 window at 418.95 MW, withdrew within ten months of filing.
- Both projects that reached commercial operation from the 2016 and 2017 windows were solar-plus-battery; the largest solar-only request in those windows withdrew.
- The two projects that were built took 7.6 and 6.5 years from request to commercial operation.
What a decision record would have to make explicit
- Two requests withdrawn on the same day indicates a decision taken across more than one project. The queue record shows the coincidence but not the reasoning.
- A portfolio decision at this node in 2017 would have been choosing among four requests filed in the same window, of which one was later built.
- The dataset does not record withdrawal reasons, siting constraints, or study results, so those remain unknowns on this record.
What this does and does not show
This is a reading of a public dataset, not a customer case study: no engagement, customer or client is involved. The dataset records outcomes — what was built, what withdrew, and when — but not why any project withdrew, so no cause is attributed here. Nothing on this page claims GridVision predicted, influenced or would have changed any outcome, and a pattern at one point of interconnection does not generalise to another.
