Which markets Texas requests sit in
A state is a location, not a market. Requests at Texas points of interconnection are studied by the market that runs the queue there, and the process differs between them.
| Market | Requests | Capacity filed | Reached operation | Withdrew | Outcome by capacity |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| ERCOT | 2,764 | 587 GW | 9.0% | 15.3% | |
| SPP | 420 | 96 GW | 5.0% | 73.5% | |
| MISO | 100 | 24 GW | 5.2% | 66.8% | |
| West | 18 | 4 GW | 9.6% | 45.8% |
By resource type
| Resource | Requests | Capacity filed | Reached operation | Withdrew | Outcome by capacity |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Solar | 915 | 193 GW | 10.2% | 35.5% | |
| Battery | 833 | 153 GW | 1.9% | 8.6% | |
| Hybrid | 592 | 128 GW | 2.6% | 2.6% | |
| Wind | 496 | 123 GW | 14.2% | 40.3% | |

| Other | 231 | 30 GW | 29.6% | 60.0% |
Hybrid covers requests the dataset records as a combination, such as solar plus battery.

Method and limits
Each request is counted once, at the capacity and status the dataset records for it, and placed in the state the dataset gives for its point of interconnection. Requests missing a state, status, filing year or capacity are left out. The dataset records outcomes and dates, not reasons, so nothing here says why a request withdrew, and no share is a rate to plan against.
For the same record filtered your own way, use the queue explorer; for national tables and time-to-build figures, see queue statistics.

Send the node and the market. We read the public queue record for it — what was filed, what was built, what withdrew and how long each took — and send back what the record does and does not show.
