Which markets Georgia requests sit in
A state is a location, not a market. Requests at Georgia points of interconnection are studied by the market that runs the queue there, and the process differs between them.
| Market | Requests | Capacity filed | Reached operation | Withdrew | Outcome by capacity |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Southeast | 692 | 125 GW | 8.2% | 54.4% |
By resource type
| Resource | Requests | Capacity filed | Reached operation | Withdrew | Outcome by capacity |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Solar | 438 | 47 GW | 5.5% | 61.3% | |
| Gas | 81 | 44 GW | 12.5% | 51.7% | |
| Hybrid | 79 | 13 GW | 0.0% | 40.6% | |
| Battery | 62 | 14 GW | 0.5% | 45.9% | |
| Other | 31 | 7 GW | 29.2% | 65.9% | |

Hybrid covers requests the dataset records as a combination, such as solar plus battery.

Points of interconnection with the most requests
- East Bainbridge - Spring Creek (Black) 115 kV Line9 requests in the dataset
- North Americus - Perry 115 kV Line9 requests in the dataset
- North Tifton - Pitts 230 kV Line9 requests in the dataset
- Mitchell - Moultrie 115 kV Line7 requests in the dataset
- McIntosh Substation 230 kV Bus7 requests in the dataset
- Bonaire Primary - Eastman Primary 115 kV Line7 requests in the dataset
Names are as the dataset records them, so spelling variants of one station can appear separately.
Method and limits
Each request is counted once, at the capacity and status the dataset records for it, and placed in the state the dataset gives for its point of interconnection. Requests missing a state, status, filing year or capacity are left out. The dataset records outcomes and dates, not reasons, so nothing here says why a request withdrew, and no share is a rate to plan against.
